Privacy policy

What you enter in the calculators, the label generator and the checklists stays in your browser. We record a few anonymous usage events and the emails people choose to give us.

What stays in your browser

  • Calculator inputs (rooms, furniture level), label rooms, box counts, contents text, family name and destination, and checklist ticks. Some are saved in local storage on your device so a reload keeps them, and are never uploaded.
  • The PDFs are made in your browser. They are not uploaded.

What we collect

  • Usage events: a random visitor id stored in your browser, the page path, the referring site, campaign tags in the link, the country (from the network), a rough device type, and short codes for actions such as finishing a calculation (home type, size bucket), downloading a PDF, or opening pricing. We never record the text you type, such as label contents or names.
  • Email addresses you give us: on the checkout page, to reserve the planner; on the apartment checklist, if you ask for the PDF by email; or in the contact form, with your message.
  • Network address: used only to limit how many requests one network can send, stored as a salted one-way hash.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for anonymous usage statistics: which pages are opened and which tools and buttons are used, such as finishing a calculation or opening pricing. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell visits apart. We send it short action codes only, never your email address and never text you type. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker, and the tools work the same without it.

What we do not do

  • No advertising yet, no selling of your data, and no addresses or phone numbers collected. The change of address list does not take your address.
  • We do not run advertising or tracking beyond the analytics described below.
  • Your email is used only to send what you asked for: the checklist once, a note when the planner opens, or a reply. The checklist email may be followed by at most one moving-season tip email, and you can ask us to delete your email at any time.
