This site gives estimates and printable lists. Please read these short terms.

Estimates only

Box counts, supply amounts, cubic feet and truck sizes are rule-of-thumb estimates. We do not guarantee that a number of boxes or a truck size will be enough for your move. Measure your own large items, and check a rental company's own size guide before you book.

We are not a moving company

We do not move, pack, rent trucks, forward mail, change addresses or file government forms, and we are not affiliated with any moving, truck-rental or postal company. Checklists are general and US-oriented; deadlines and rules vary by state and provider. Renters insurance and legal items are explained in general terms, not as advice.

Use of the site

The tools are free to use for personal moves. The site is provided as is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses from relying on an estimate.
